Catholic Women's Conference

 

CATHOLIC WOMEN’S CONFERENCE, presented by The Station of the Cross Catholic Radio (Rochester 1460AM). Join together with other women on March 17, 2012, for a Lenten day of reflection entitled “Behold, I Make All Things New” to be held at the Hearthstone Manor in Depew, New York. This special
event will begin with Mass at 8 a.m. and will feature nationally syndicated radio host Teresa Tomeo, Leah Darrow, and "The Mother Teresa of Baghdad" Mother Olga Yaqob. Music by Catholic recording artists 'Marian Grace.' Admission is $40 until March 1st and includes a boxed lunch! High school and college

St. Matthew Preschool Information Night

 

St. Matthew Preschool Information Night will be held on Thursday, March 8th from 7-8pm at Hagerty Hall, 41 Spring St.  Come and meet our teachers, see our preschool and receive Registration Information for the 2012-2013 school year. Hope to see you there.

Wedding Jubilee Mass

 

Bishop Matthew Clark will celebrate a Wedding Jubilee Mass to honor couples who have been married 25 years or more on Sunday May 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester. A reception will follow the Mass to honor the attendees. Youth Faith Formation
Registration 2011-2012

 

If you haven't done so already, now is the time to register your child/children for Youth Faith Formation (YFF).  At both parishes, YFF "classes" start in 1st grade and go through 8th grade.  Both parishes have Senior High Youth Ministry for 9th through 12th grade students.

 

Any child not attending Catholic school should be enrolled in parish-based faith formation.  All sacramental preparation is parish-based.  Parents wishing their children to prepare for a particular sacrament should ALSO have them enrolled in YFF if they are not attending Catholic school.

 

"Classes" begin on Sunday, September 18th at 9:30a.m. at St. Mary's and on Tuesday, September 20th at 6:30p.m. at Hagery Hall for St. Matthew.

 

Sunday Children's Programs at St. Mary's and St. Matthew churches are offered during Mass times.  At St. Mary's, Children's Liturgy Of The Word is offered to children ages 6-12 years.  For St. Matthew Church, programs offered are:

 

  • Children's Liturgy Of The Word (ages 6-12)
  • Sharing Stories With Jesus (ages 3, 4 and 5 years)
  • Nursery (for children ages infant - 3 years)

 

There is no fee for these programs but we ask that you register your children on your Youth Faith Formation registration form.
